Investigators Grill Al Falah Staff After Blast

Nearly three weeks after the blast outside the Red Fort in Delhi, investigators
have increased their focus on Al Falah University in Faridabad, where three of
the accused had worked. Officials told The Indian Express that 48 staff members,
including around 30 doctors, have been questioned as agencies try to trace bomber
Umar Nabi’s movements and contacts before the attack.

Along with Nabi, two other members of the recently busted Jaish-e-Mohammed
module — Dr Muzammil Ganai from Pahalgam and Dr Shaheen Shahid Ansari from
Lucknow — were also working at Al Falah University. Other arrested members
of the group include Dr Adeel Rather, who worked at a private hospital in
Saharanpur, and Kashmiri cleric Mufti Irfan Wagay.
