Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of Iran, recently met Vladimir Putin in Saint Petersburg for important discussions on regional tensions and diplomacy.

After the meeting, Araghchi thanked Russia for its support in helping resolve conflicts through peaceful talks. He said that the strong relationship between Iran and Russia has played an important role during recent international tensions.

The talks took place after rising tensions in the Middle East, especially following airstrikes by the United States and Israel on Iran. These strikes were strongly criticized by Russia, which called for dialogue instead of military action.

Russia also suggested a plan to store Iran’s enriched uranium in order to reduce tensions in the region and prevent further escalation. However, this proposal was rejected by the United States.

The meeting between Araghchi and Putin is seen as part of ongoing efforts to find diplomatic solutions and reduce conflict in the region. Both sides are expected to continue discussions as the situation remains sensitive.
