Israel said its military carried out strikes on important “regime targets” in Iran early on Saturday (March 28, 2026). In the Iranian capital, Tehran, an AFP journalist reported hearing around 10 loud explosions and seeing thick black smoke rising into the sky.
The situation has become more serious as both sides continue to exchange attacks. Iranian missiles were also launched in response, adding to the growing conflict in the region.
In Israel, emergency services reported that a man was killed in Tel Aviv after missiles were fired from Iran on Friday (March 27). The Magen David Adom confirmed the death. Air raid sirens were also heard in Jerusalem, warning people to take shelter.
At the same time, an Iranian missile attack targeted a base in Saudi Arabia, where several United States service members were injured. The attack also damaged a number of military aircraft at the base.
These events show that the conflict is spreading across multiple countries in West Asia. With more attacks happening in different locations, the risk of a larger regional conflict is increasing.
Experts say the situation remains very tense, with no clear sign of a diplomatic solution. Continued violence could lead to further instability in the region and impact global security.
