ISRO Launches Heaviest Satellite from Indian Soil

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Tuesday successfully launched the US communication satellite BlueBird Block-2 using its heaviest rocket, LVM3-M6, from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. The launch happened at 8:55 am from the Satish Dhawan Space Station.

The rocket worked as planned and safely carried the satellite into space. After about 15 minutes, the BlueBird Block-2 satellite separated from the rocket and was placed correctly into its planned orbit.

Officials said the mission was completed with great accuracy, showing the strength and reliability of ISRO’s LVM3 rocket. The satellite, built by US-based AST SpaceMobile, will help provide advanced communication services.

This successful launch shows ISRO’s growing importance in the global space sector and its ability to launch large and complex satellites for other countries.
