On March 27, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy commenced his election campaign, named ‘Memanta Siddham’, from Idupulapaya in Kadapa district. The campaign began with paying homage to his father Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy at the YSR Ghat at Idupulapaya, followed by a bus yatra starting at 1.30 p.m.
The yatra is set to cover significant locations including Kumarunipalli, Vempalli, Sarvarajupeta, VN Palli (Kamalapuram), Gangireddypalli, Urutur, Yerraguntla (Jammalamadugu), and Potladurthi. Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to address a public meeting at 4.30 p.m. on the Proddutur bypass road as part of the campaign launch.
