Jharkhand Women Win Para Throwball National Title

Jharkhand’s women’s team won the gold medal in the Women’s Category at the Para Throwball National Federation Cup 2026. The final was held in Jhunjhunu, where Jharkhand defeated the host team, Rajasthan, with a score of 21-17 in a closely fought match.

The tournament, held from February 3 to 5, featured high-level competition and strong tactical play. Jharkhand’s women impressed with their calm and disciplined performance throughout the event, winning the championship after a well-planned campaign.

In the men’s Category, Andhra Pradesh emerged as the champions, beating Telangana in the final. Telangana finished as runners-up, while Haryana claimed the bronze medal. Jharkhand’s men’s team placed fourth after losing a tight match in the semifinals.

The tournament highlighted the growing strength of Para Throwball in India, with teams showing skill, teamwork, and determination across both men’s and women’s events.
