“Karnataka Congress Faces Fresh Power Struggle Rumours”

There are ongoing rumours about a power struggle within the Congress government in Karnataka, and these discussions are not fading away. Recently, a religious leader, Pranavananda Swamiji, claimed that Hindu mutts (monasteries) that support Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar did not receive any allocation in the state budget.

The budget was presented earlier this month by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The seer’s statement has added to the ongoing speculation about differences between leaders within the party. Pranavananda Swamiji is known to support Shivakumar and has even backed him as a possible future chief minister.

The situation became more tense after Congress MLA Iqbal Hussain raised concerns last week. He said that his constituency, Ramanagara, did not receive enough funds in the budget. He claimed that important development projects were ignored despite repeated requests made to the Chief Minister.

These complaints have once again sparked talks about internal divisions within the Congress party in Karnataka. Some leaders and observers believe that there may be differences between groups supporting Siddaramaiah and those backing Shivakumar.

Political experts say that such issues can affect the functioning of the government if not addressed quickly. However, party leaders have not officially confirmed any serious conflict and are expected to manage the situation internally.

As discussions continue, all eyes are on how the Congress leadership will respond and whether these differences will impact governance and future political decisions in the state.
