A neatly arranged breakfast of upma, idli and sambar at the Chief Minister’s
residence helped set a peaceful tone on Saturday as Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah
and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar met to ease tensions within the Congress. The meeting,
encouraged by the party high command, came amid fresh rumours about a possible
leadership change in the state.
After the meal, Siddaramaiah tried to end the speculation, saying that there are
“no differences” between the two leaders and that there won’t be any in the
future.
