Modi Begins Two-Day Visit to Malaysia

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin a two-day official visit to Malaysia tomorrow. The visit aims to strengthen the relationship between India and Malaysia. The two countries plan to work closely in areas like trade, investment, energy, and maritime security.

Mr. Modi will go to Kuala Lumpur at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Leaders from both sides are expected to hold talks to improve cooperation and create more opportunities for business and growth.

P. Kumaran, Secretary (East) in the Ministry of External Affairs, said this will be Mr. Modi’s third visit to Malaysia. He said this shows that India values its partnership with Malaysia.

He added that the visit comes soon after both countries upgraded their ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Officials said the trip highlights India’s strong commitment to building closer relations with Malaysia. It will also help India strengthen its connections with other countries in Southeast Asia.
