Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron will help strengthen cooperation between India and France in many areas. He expressed confidence that their talks would also contribute to global progress.
Mr. Modi will meet Mr. Macron in Mumbai today. Responding to a post by the French President on social media, Mr. Modi said India is happy to welcome him. He added that both countries aim to give fresh momentum to their strategic partnership.
President Macron is on a three-day official visit to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. He is also attending the AI Impact Summit during his visit.
The leaders are expected to discuss key areas of cooperation, including technology, defence, trade, climate change, and innovation. The visit highlights the strong ties between India and France and their shared commitment to working together on important global issues.
