Namakkal District Sets World Record for Voter Awareness Formation

Namakkal district in Tamil Nadu has set a new world record by forming the largest human formation to promote election awareness ahead of the April 23 state assembly elections.

A total of 8,662 people took part in the event. Participants included government officials, college teachers, and students. The program was held at the ground of a private engineering college under the guidance of District Election Officer Durgamoorthy.

During the event, the participants formed different symbols and messages to encourage people to vote. The main aim was to spread awareness about the importance of voting and increase voter participation in the upcoming elections.

The achievement was recognized by the World Records Union. District Collector Durgamoorthy presented medals and certificates to the participants. The recognition was given in the presence of Christopher Taylor Craft, a representative of the World Records Union.

Officials said the event was a successful effort to motivate young voters and the public to take part in the democratic process.
