NFL Star Travis Kelce Buys $5.35M Lakefront Home

Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, has purchased a luxurious lakefront home in Ohio for $5.35 million. The property is located near Cleveland and a private airport. Kelce grew up in Bratenahl, the village where the house is situated, along with his brother Jason.

The area is known for its mix of modest homes and multimillion-dollar estates. Homes in Bratenahl range from $250,000 to $2.4 million. Kelce, 36, recently married pop star Taylor Swift in July at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with over 1,000 guests attending the event.

The property was built in 1895 and spans 3.5 acres, totaling 21,000 square feet. It features eight bedrooms, a converted ballroom now used as a game room and home theater, and a two-bedroom guest cottage. Kelce bought the house from Figurati Construction Group, which had purchased it for $1.95 million in 2023. The asking price was reduced to $5.99 million after renovations.

The home includes multiple fireplaces, a media room, a five-car garage, and a resort-style pool and spa. Earlier in 2023, Kelce also bought a $5.5 million estate in Leawood, Kansas. He recently signed on for another year with the Chiefs, ending rumors of his retirement.

Kelce’s team had a disappointing 2025 season, missing the playoffs for the first time in years. He will aim to lead them back to glory in the upcoming 2026 NFL season. It remains unclear whether Kelce and Swift will make this new home their permanent residence.
