One Billion Followers Summit Opens in Dubai

The fourth edition of the One Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest event focused on the content creator economy, begins today. This year’s theme is “Content for Good,” which highlights how digital content can be used to create positive social impact.

The summit is organized by the UAE Government Media Office and is held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The event will run for three days.

The summit is being hosted at some of Dubai’s most famous locations, including Jumeirah Emirates Towers, the Museum of the Future, and the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

This year’s summit is sold out and is expected to attract more than 30,000 participants. These include over 15,000 content creators from around the world and more than 500 speakers. Together, the speakers have a combined audience of over 3.5 billion followers across different digital platforms.

The event will feature discussions, workshops, and networking sessions focused on digital creativity, responsible content creation, innovation, and the future of the creator economy. It aims to inspire creators to use their influence in meaningful and positive ways.
