More than 200 IndiGo flights were cancelled on Thursday in different
parts of the country. The airline is facing major problems in its
operations, causing trouble for passengers at airports.
Out of the total cancelled flights, 191 were cancelled in cities like
Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. This created confusion and
long queues at many airports.
The aviation regulator, DGCA, has called IndiGo officials for a meeting
at 2 pm to discuss and investigate the situation.
Flight cancellations were reported in:
Delhi: 95
Mumbai: 85
Bengaluru: 73
Hyderabad: 68
Pune: 16
Ahmedabad: 5
Kolkata: 4
At Delhi Airport alone, a total of 95 flights (48 departures and 47 arrivals)
were cancelled since morning.
