Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), August 26 (ANI): India’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar delivered an outstanding performance with the ball, helping his team, the Lucknow Falcons, secure a convincing six-wicket victory over defending champions Kashi Rudras in the UP T20 League. This win marks their third consecutive victory this season and extends their dominance after back-to-back wins against Kashi Rudras.
Bhuvneshwar’s impressive opening spell saw him claim three wickets for just 20 runs, dismissing the top order quickly during the powerplay. His teammate Abhinandan Singh also chipped in with three wickets, restricting Kashi Rudras to a low total of 126 in under 20 overs.
Chasing 127, the Falcons got off to a strong start thanks to Mohammad Saif’s quick 17 runs and Himanshu Singh’s aggressive knock of 64 from just 41 balls. Despite some early wickets, the team stayed composed and completed the chase with ease, thanks to contributions from Kritagya Singh, Priyam Garg, and Kaartikaya Singh.
Bhuvneshwar was named Player of the Match for his crucial performance.
