Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday (December 25, 2025) attended a Christmas morning service at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption in Delhi. A large number of Christians from Delhi and other parts of north India gathered at the church for the celebrations.
The service included prayers, Christmas carols, and hymns, creating a festive and peaceful atmosphere. A special prayer was also offered for the Prime Minister by Rt. Rev. Dr. Paul Swarup, the Bishop of Delhi.
During the visit, Prime Minister Modi greeted members of the Christian community and conveyed his Christmas wishes. He spoke about the message of peace, love, and harmony that Christmas represents and highlighted the importance of unity and respect among all communities.
