Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the three-day fifth National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi starting today. He will lead the conference tomorrow and the day after as well.
The conference is an important step in strengthening cooperation between the Centre and the States through regular and meaningful discussions on national development issues.
Based on the Prime Minister’s vision of cooperative federalism, the conference provides a platform for the Centre and States to work together. The aim is to create a common plan to make the best use of India’s human resources and to promote inclusive and future-ready growth.
