The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is carrying out raids in several places across the
Kashmir Valley as part of its investigation into last month’s explosion at the Red Fort.
The agency confirmed that it has searched eight locations connected to a case registered in
New Delhi.
According to sources, early on Monday morning, NIA teams conducted searches in different
areas of South Kashmir.
Separate teams raided the home of Dr. Adeel Ahmad Rather in Kulgam and Dr. Muzamil Shakeel
Ganai in Koil village of Pulwama. The agency also searched the house of cleric Mufti Irfan
Ahmad Wagay in Shopian and Amir Rashid in Samboora village of Pulwama.
