Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelensky said that nine people were killed
in Russian attacks overnight.
He said Russia launched more than 470 drones and 47 missiles in what he
called a “bold attack.”
In Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, three districts were hit by a
large drone strike. More than 30 people, including children, were injured.
Photos on social media showed burning buildings and cars.
Ukraine’s energy ministry said that many regions across the country are
facing power cuts because of the attacks.
