Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar has invited Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for
a breakfast meeting at his home in Bengaluru.This comes at a time when many people believe the two leaders may be
competing for the top post in the state government. The meeting is expected to happen on Tuesday.
Shivakumar, however, downplayed the rumours. He said the breakfast meeting was simply a
friendly discussion “between brothers” and insisted that there was no groupism or internal
fighting within the government. He added that both leaders continue to work together for the
development of Karnataka.
