All eyes are on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah as he travels to Delhi to attend the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting today.
The meeting comes amid questions about the state leadership, with Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar’s supporters hoping he becomes the next CM soon.
About his trip, Siddaramaiah told reporters in Davangere, “I am going for the CWC meeting today, but I don’t go to Delhi often.”
The Chief Minister had recently said in the Karnataka Assembly that the party high command seems to support him and he plans to complete his full five-year term.
Before Siddaramaiah left for Delhi, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge told reporters that all confusion regarding the leadership would be resolved.
