Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted inspections of various roadworks in Chennai and directed officials to ensure all projects were completed before the onset of the northeast monsoon. He visited several areas, including Ram Nagar VII Cross Street, Third Main Road, Manappakkam-Kolapakkam-Gerugambakkam Road, Tiruvalluvar Road at Ramapuram, and a stretch between Valasaravakkam and Vadapalani.
The Chief Minister instructed Chief Secretary Shiv Das Meena to monitor the progress of roadworks across the state on a weekly basis. Additionally, the Greater Chennai Corporation issued orders to relay 1,000 roads, including 126 bus routes, as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements in the city.
