Mitchell Starc showed amazing skill and fitness at age 35 by taking a
brilliant one-handed catch to dismiss England’s Zak Crawley on Day 2 of
the first Ashes Test at Perth’s Optus Stadium. After taking a career-best
seven wickets on Day 1, Starc made headlines again on Saturday with this
unbelievable catch, removing Crawley for the second time in the match.
The moment happened on the fifth ball of England’s second innings.
The ball bounced higher than Crawley expected, and he tried to push it straight.
Starc, who was moving away after bowling, stretched out his left hand, dived,
and caught the ball just above the ground to complete a stunning dismissal.
