S. Rajavel, Chairperson of FADA Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, attributed this deceleration in vehicle sales to the belief that this period is inauspicious for buying vehicles. However, he expects an uptick in sales in the coming months with the onset of the festival season, including Diwali, during which festival discounts are typically announced.
