A student’s death in Telangana, which was initially treated as a suicide, is now being investigated as a murder after police identified contract lecturer Jetty Naveen Kumar as the main accused in the case.
According to police, Kumar allegedly forced the woman to consume pesticide and later attempted to make the incident appear to be a suicide. Investigators suspect that the accused may have tried to create misleading evidence after her death to hide his alleged involvement.
The incident reportedly took place while the student was attending classes at a private college in Telangana. Police said the lecturer used threats and intimidation against the woman and allegedly forced her to consume the pesticide.
