Tribal villagers in parts of Andhra Pradesh’s Alluri Sitaramaraju and
Vizianagaram districts say they are facing many problems because there
are no proper roads to their villages.
People living in Chinna Gudem, Erredlavanipalem, and Gudem villages under
Rompalli panchayat said they have to walk about 2 km through mud and water
to reach the nearest main road at Gollapalem.
They said the lack of road connectivity makes it difficult to go to school,
reach hospitals, or buy daily essentials, especially during the rainy season.
The villagers have requested the government to build proper roads to make their
lives easier.
