The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government, led by Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay, has presented its first full State Budget for the financial year 2026–27. The budget was introduced in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on Wednesday by Finance Minister Dr. N. Marie Wilson. This is the first comprehensive budget of the TVK government since it came to power.
Finance Minister Dr. N. Marie Wilson delivered a budget speech that lasted for more than two-and-a-half hours.
