Vijay, leader of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), has filed a complaint against political commentator Ponraj at the Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP) office on Thursday.
Vijay was accompanied by senior leader K. A. Sengottaiyan while submitting the complaint. The move has drawn attention in political circles, as it involves serious allegations related to public statements.
In his complaint, Vijay accused Ponraj of making indecent remarks and using language that insults women. He said that such statements are unacceptable and should not be allowed in public discussions. According to Vijay, Ponraj’s comments have crossed all limits of decency.
Vijay also stated that Ponraj seemed to believe that he could speak without facing any consequences. He stressed that such behavior must be addressed to maintain respect and dignity in society, especially when it concerns women.
He has requested the police to take appropriate legal action against Ponraj. The complaint urges authorities to investigate the matter and ensure that necessary steps are taken under the law.
As of now, there has been no official response from Ponraj regarding these allegations. The police are expected to review the complaint and decide on further action.
