TVK Signals Major Political Shift

Vote counting is currently in progress in the Egmore Assembly constituency of Tamil Nadu, and early trends show a strong performance by Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK).

TVK candidate Rajmohan is leading the race with 38,406 votes so far.

He holds a significant lead of 10,722 votes over Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) candidate Tamilan Prasanna, who has secured 27,684 votes.

The Egmore seat is currently held by DMK’s I. Paranthamen, but according to the present counting trends, he is not among the top three leading candidates.

This early lead gives TVK a strong advantage in the constituency, suggesting growing support for the party in this important seat.

However, counting is still underway, and no final result has been officially declared. The outcome will be confirmed only after all rounds of vote counting are completed. Political parties and voters continue to watch the constituency closely as the election results unfold.
