Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin strongly criticised AIADMK General
Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami and former minister K. A. Sengottaiyan, who has now
joined actor-politician Vijay’s party TVK. He accused both leaders of giving up true
Dravidian principles and acting under the influence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Udhayanidhi also responded to Tamil Nadu Governor R. N. Ravi’s recent comment that
Dravidam is “an imagination.” He said that Chief Minister M. K. Stalin had already
made it clear that he would “control the Governor’s arrogance” and defend Dravidian values.
The Deputy Chief Minister said these attacks on Dravidian ideology would not affect
the people of Tamil Nadu, who continue to support social justice, equality, and the
policies of the Dravidian movement.
