Uttarakhand Cabinet Expands with Five New Ministers

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, expanded his cabinet on Friday, March 20, 2026. Five new MLAs took oath as ministers at the Lok Bhavan in Dehradun, officially joining the state government.

The new ministers inducted into the cabinet are Khazan Das, Bharat Singh Chaudhary, Madan Kaushik, Pradeep Batra, and Ram Singh Kaida.

With this expansion, the Uttarakhand cabinet has now reached its full strength of 12 ministers, as allowed under state rules, officials said. The new ministers are expected to take on various responsibilities and portfolios to help run the state government effectively.
