Vietnam President To Lam is currently visiting India as part of a three-day official trip aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries.

After holding important discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, President To Lam arrived in Mumbai to continue his diplomatic engagements.

During the meeting in the national capital, India and Vietnam signed 13 agreements covering several sectors, including trade, defense, technology, education, and cultural cooperation.

Both leaders emphasized the importance of deepening strategic ties and expanding cooperation in key areas that benefit both nations.

Prime Minister Modi described Vietnam as an important partner in India’s “Act East” policy, while President To Lam highlighted the strong friendship and growing partnership between the two countries.

Following the talks in Delhi, the Vietnamese President traveled to Mumbai, where he is scheduled to participate in multiple events focused on business, investment, and cultural exchange.

His Mumbai visit is expected to include meetings with business leaders, industry representatives, and members of the Vietnamese community.

The trip aims to encourage stronger economic cooperation and attract greater investment opportunities between India and Vietnam.

Political observers believe the visit reflects the growing importance of India-Vietnam relations in the Indo-Pacific region, especially at a time of increasing regional economic and strategic cooperation.

The agreements signed during the visit are expected to further strengthen diplomatic ties and create new opportunities for collaboration in the coming years.

President To Lam’s visit is being seen as another important step in expanding the long-standing partnership between India and Vietnam across multiple sectors.
