Voters Face Glitches on ECI SIR Website

Many voters trying to use the Election Commission of India’s (ECI)
website to submit their Special Intensive Revision (SIR) forms online
are facing technical problems.

Several users said that when they try to update their address or
constituency details, the website does not show the name of their
constituency in the address change section. Because of this issue,
people are unable to complete and submit their forms online.

Some voters said they have tried several times but still face the
same problem. Others mentioned that even after filling in all the
required details, the form does not move to the next step or shows
an error message.

Officials have said that the ECI’s technical team is working to fix
these issues soon so that voters can complete their applications without
any trouble.

The SIR process is being carried out across the state to update the voter
list before the next elections. However, the glitches on the website have
caused delays and confusion among voters who prefer to apply online instead
of visiting their local Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
