**We are VIPs, can’t stand in queue: Karnataka MLAs demand IPL tickets**

UT Khader, the Speaker of the Karnataka Assembly, has asked the state government to arrange VIP tickets for MLAs to attend matches at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. This request is said to be general and not connected to any specific political party.

According to reports, MLAs have requested that each of them be given four VIP tickets for matches held at the stadium. They have said that they do not want to stand in long queues to buy tickets like regular spectators. Because of this, they have raised the issue publicly and asked for special arrangements.

Following this, the Speaker’s office has taken up the matter with the state government. Officials are now looking into how to provide these tickets as requested by the MLAs. The aim is to make it easier for elected representatives to attend important matches and public events.

However, this request has led to mixed reactions from the public. Some people have questioned whether it is right to use public resources for such purposes. They feel that government money should be used for more important needs like development and public services.

On the other hand, some believe that MLAs, as public representatives, should be allowed to attend major events without inconvenience. They argue that such access can help them stay connected with the public and participate in important gatherings.

The issue has now become a topic of discussion, raising questions about the use of privileges by elected leaders and how public funds should be spent. The final decision will depend on how the government responds to the Speaker’s request.
