Chennai basedAssetPlus today announced the launch of Har Ghar MFD, a nationwide initiative to make mutual fund distribution a more accessible professional opportunity and create a free knowledge destination for aspiring and existing Mutual Fund Distributors. The initiative was launched in the presence of Navneet Munot, Managing Director & CEO, HDFC AMC; Nilesh Shah, Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra AMC; Radhika Gupta, Managing Director & CEO, Edelweiss Mutual Fund; and Sunil Subramaniam, Former Managing Director & CEO, Sundaram Mutual Fund, alongside AssetPlus founders Vishranth Suresh and Awanish Raj. India’s mutual fund industry is entering a defining phase. Industry assets have crossed ₹81 lakh crore, monthly SIP inflows are at around ₹31,000 crore, and investor participation continues to expand across the country. Yet the distribution base remains relatively small, with only around 1.8 lakh Mutual Fund Distributors serving a fast-growing investor base. As mutual funds move deeper into Indian households, expanding the pool of informed and capable distributors has become an important industry priority. Har Ghar MFD is built on a simple belief: An MFD for every home. A strong future for every Indian family.
