PRSI State Awards

The Chennai Chapter of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI) hosted the PRSI State Awards 2025, recognising excellence in communication, branding and public relations across various sectors. Nearly 115 awards were presented to public sector organisations, private corporates, MSMEs, advertising agencies and individual professionals whose creative and communication efforts stood out this year. The Chief Guest, Dr. N. Ezhilan, MLA of the Thousand Lights Constituency and Member of the State Planning Commission, delivered the keynote address. The event was presided over by Dr. Ajit Pathak, National President of PRSI, along with Dr. P. L. K. Murthy, Secretary-General, and Shri U. S. Sarma, Vice President (South). Shri H. Shankar, Managing Director of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), and Shri C. K. Kumaravel, Co-founder and CMD of Naturals, graced the occasion as Guests of Honour. Awards were presented to major public sector enterprises such as CPCL and Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC), and to private-sector leaders including Apollo Hospitals, Shriram Chits, Naturals, the Murugappa Group and Refex. Prominent creative agencies such as Sreshtha Communications, Adventure Media, Renaissance, BCC Martech and Be Positive were also recognised. Several individuals received honours for their outstanding contributions to the communication and PR ecosystem. The Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Mr. Kalidoss, EC Member of PRSI – Chennai Chapter, in recognition of his exemplary contributions to the growth of the chapter. The event was supported by key sponsors. The Rotary Club of Chennai Legends (RI District 3234), Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, Apollo Hospitals and Shriram Chits (India) Pvt. Ltd. powered the awards. Associate sponsors included Bleevo, Naturals Salon, Shrestha Communications and Good Times Studios. DT Next and Hindu Tamil partnered as media supporters, while Advertising Club Madras served as the community partner. Elevate Productions was the video partner, FESWA Creatives the event partner and VI Studios the Instagram partner. Around 250 participants attended the ceremony, reflecting the industry’s enthusiasm for recognising and celebrating impactful communication work. The event was held recently, on 28 November 2025, at the MMA Hall, Anna Salai, Chennai.
