QS, a global leader in higher-education services and university performance analytics, is hosting the QS Discover Master’s Fair in Chennai on 11th December 2025, underscoring the city’s rising demand for international postgraduate pathways. According to the QS Global Student Flows report, Chennai is among India’s top five cities for interest in overseas education, with students showing a steady rise in global aspirations. The city has recorded an 11.3% CAGR in international education interest since 2022, and in 2025, more than 34,000 students are exploring opportunities to study abroad. “Students in Chennai and neighbouring regions are increasingly prioritising international qualifications that offer academic rigour, global exposure and strong career outcomes. The QS Masters Fair addresses these needs directly by bringing leading universities to Chennai and enabling students to engage with decision-makers and gain personalised guidance, thereby helping them make informed and confident choices about their postgraduate journeys”, said Pieter Funnekotter, Senior Vice President, Candidate Engagement, QS.
