A total of 597 students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS)
have passed India’s toughest entrance exams — JEE Main, JEE Advanced,
and NEET UG — in the 2024–25 academic year. This is a big jump compared
to just 2 students in 2022–23 and 22 students in 2023–24.
According to the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, 219 EMRS students passed
JEE Main, 34 cleared JEE Advanced, and 344 qualified NEET UG this year.
These successful students come from 12 states, including Madhya Pradesh,
Gujarat, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh, which had the highest numbers. Out
of the 230 EMRS schools that have Class 12, students from 101 schools made
it to the lists of India’s top engineering and medical entrance exams.
