Indian Engineers Key To Samsung Smartphone Integration

JB Park, President and CEO of Samsung Southwest Asia, explained how important India is for making Samsung smartphones. He said that at the Bengaluru R&D center, engineers work to make all the phone’s parts work together smoothly. These parts can come from other companies or be made by Samsung itself. Park said this process is called engineering – not making the parts – and India is very good at this kind of research and development. This skill is very important for Samsung’s success.

Park, who attended the Galaxy S26 launch in San Francisco last week, also said that engineers at Samsung’s Bengaluru and Noida R&D centers have played a big role in developing the new flagship smartphones. Their work ensures that all parts of the phone fit and work perfectly, giving users a better and smoother experience.

He added that India’s strength in joining components and calibrating devices is very important for Samsung’s smartphones worldwide. The Bengaluru and Noida teams make sure that software and hardware work well together, which improves the phone’s performance and quality.

Park said this kind of engineering – connecting parts and fine-tuning devices – shows why India is a key hub for Samsung’s smartphone research and development.
