Indira Gandhi University Opens MBA Spot Admission Soon

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) is set to begin registrations for a special spot round for admission to its MBA programme for the academic year 2026-27. The registration process will begin on September 14, giving eligible female graduates another opportunity to seek admission to the programme.

Female candidates who have completed their graduation with at least 60% marks can apply for the special spot round, subject to the other eligibility conditions mentioned in the official MBA Admission Brochure 2026-27.

The university has provided different minimum marks requirements for candidates belonging to various categories. Candidates from the OBC-NCL and CW categories need to have at least 55% marks in their qualifying degree. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST and PwD categories, the minimum required marks are 50%.

Candidates interested in participating in the special spot round should carefully check all the admission requirements before registering. Meeting the minimum percentage requirement alone may not be sufficient, as applicants must also satisfy the other conditions mentioned in the university’s admission guidelines.

The special spot round will be conducted on September 14, Monday, at the Department of Management at the IGDTUW campus in Kashmere Gate, Delhi. The admission process will take place in Room No. 3.

Candidates taking part in the process have been advised to reach the venue by 12 noon. Arriving on time is important because the spot admission process will be conducted according to the university’s schedule.

The special spot round is expected to provide an additional opportunity for eligible candidates who could not secure admission during the earlier rounds. Spot rounds are generally conducted to fill seats that remain vacant after the regular admission process.

Applicants should make sure that they have all the required documents and certificates with them when attending the admission process. They should also carefully follow the instructions issued by IGDTUW regarding registration, eligibility and admission.

IGDTUW is a women’s technical university in Delhi that offers programmes in areas including engineering, technology and management. The MBA programme provides students with an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in business and management.

Candidates who are planning to participate in the September 14 special spot round should check the MBA Admission Brochure 2026-27 and the university’s official admission instructions for the latest details. Any changes to the schedule, eligibility rules or admission procedure will be subject to the university’s official notification.

The special spot round could be an important opportunity for eligible female graduates looking to pursue an MBA at IGDTUW. Candidates are therefore advised to complete the registration process carefully and report to the designated venue before the stated deadline.
