The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has informed NEET PG 2026 candidates about a technical issue related to test-city information. Some students received incorrect test-city details through SMS because of a technical problem.
After identifying the error, NBEMS sent the correct test-city information to the affected candidates through SMS and email. Students can also check their correct test-city details by logging into the applicant portal on the official NBEMS website.
NBEMS has advised all candidates to rely only on the information available on their official applicant portal. Students should not depend on messages received from unofficial sources or information shared on social media.
The NEET PG 2026 test-city intimation slip was released on August 11. The slip informs candidates about the city where they have been assigned to appear for the postgraduate medical entrance examination.
The NEET PG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on August 30, 2026. The exam will be held in computer-based format at various examination centres across India.
The test-city intimation slip is released before the admit card. It provides candidates with important information about their allotted examination city and helps them make travel and other arrangements in advance. The admit card will contain more detailed examination information and will be issued separately.
NBEMS has also warned students about fake websites and misleading information. Candidates have been advised not to believe rumours or unverified updates about the examination.
Students should regularly check the official NBEMS websites and their applicant portals for the latest information. Following official updates will help candidates avoid confusion and ensure that they reach the correct examination centre on time.
