On desktop, WhatsApp chats will be able to be locked

Chat application owned by Meta WhatsApp is developing a new privacy feature that will be available on the desktop version rather than the mobile app. Users will be able to lock the WhatsApp desktop application as well, which is an advantage of the new feature. This function is currently accessible through WhatsApp’s mobile app. The new functionality has been described by Babytyfo. The article states that customers will also be able to set a password for the desktop version. This has the benefit of preventing anyone from accessing your WhatsApp even if you are not logged in to the office computer system. After a couple of days, this functionality can be made public.
