“Samsung Discontinues Galaxy Z TriFold, Plans Next Model”

Samsung has recently stopped selling its Galaxy Z TriFold, the company’s first smartphone with a triple-fold design. Samsung has not given an official reason for discontinuing the phone.

The Galaxy Z TriFold was never meant for mass production. It was mainly created to show off Samsung’s advanced engineering and design skills. However, experts believe that its very high price and low profit margins may have influenced the decision to stop sales.

Even though the first model has been discontinued, Samsung is not giving up on the idea of triple-fold phones. According to Korean tech tipster yeux1122 on Naver, the company is already developing a successor, likely to be called the Galaxy Z TriFold 2. Samsung is also reportedly working on a new device with a slidable display.

The next-generation triple-folding phone is still in the early stages of prototyping. Reports suggest that it will have a stronger and more durable hinge, which is a key improvement. The new design could also make the phone thinner and lighter, solving some of the issues of the original model.

These updates indicate that Samsung is continuing to explore innovative smartphone designs. While the Galaxy Z TriFold was more of a concept device, the upcoming models may be more practical and appealing for consumers. Fans of foldable phones can look forward to seeing these new devices in the future.
