Apple is planning to revamp Siri later this year by turning it into the company’s first artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, according to Bloomberg News.
The new chatbot, codenamed Campos, will be deeply integrated into iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems. It will replace the current Siri interface, making the digital assistant more interactive and capable of holding natural conversations, the report said, citing sources familiar with Apple’s plans.
This move reflects Apple’s effort to catch up in the AI space, following the growing popularity of chatbots and AI assistants in the tech world.
