Indian High Commissioner Pranay Verma emphasized the enduring ties between India and Bangladesh, with the 1971 Liberation War remaining the bedrock of their relationship. Speaking at the inauguration of Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ Dhaka-Chennai flight, Verma highlighted the growing scope of partnership and connectivity between the two nations.
He expressed India’s commitment to walk together with Bangladesh towards a stable, progressive, and prosperous future. Verma underscored the strong people-to-people connect, with over 120 flights per week linking major cities.
