After the recent election defeat, MK Stalin said that the DMK made some mistakes in understanding how modern campaigning worked, especially on social media platforms like Instagram. He pointed out that the party did not fully realize how online campaigns and younger voters, including children and teenagers, influenced support for TVK and its leader Vijay.
According to Stalin, TVK was able to connect strongly with younger audiences through digital platforms, short videos, and viral content. He said this new style of campaigning played an important role in shaping public opinion and voting patterns, especially among first-time and young voters.
Stalin admitted that the DMK needs to improve and change its approach to keep up with changing political trends. He said the party must pay more attention to how social media is used to reach people and influence public thinking.
At the same time, he made it clear that despite the election setback, the DMK’s policies and long-term plans will continue to play an important role in the governance and development of Tamil Nadu.
He added that the party will review its strategies and work on better communication with the public in future elections.
