Goa Police have taken action against teachers involved in assaulting minor students in two separate incidents in Bicholim Taluka, North Goa. In the first incident, a female teacher, accused of assaulting a Class 8 girl, was arrested following a complaint from the victim’s mother.
The incident occurred on September 9. In the second case, a female teacher who assaulted a boy from a primary school has been booked under relevant sections of the IPC and the Goa Children Act. While the investigation is ongoing, the police have yet to arrest the accused teacher in the second incident.
