A 26-year-old man died in a road accident at Kattankulathur near Chennai early Monday morning, September 7, 2026. The victim has been identified as Iraiyanbu.
According to the information available, Iraiyanbu was riding his motorcycle when the accident took place near the Kattankulathur junction. A car reportedly collided with his motorcycle, leaving him critically injured. He died at the scene following the impact.
The vehicle involved in the accident is reportedly owned by TVK Minister Jagadeshwari K., who is also the MLA from Rajapalayam. She is responsible for portfolios including Social Welfare and Women Empowerment.
At the time of the incident, the minister was reportedly travelling towards Chennai to attend the Assembly session. She was travelling in a government vehicle, accompanied by an escort vehicle and her personal car.
