Producer K.T. Kunjumon, who produced the Shankar-directed 'Kadhalan' in the early nineties, had fallen out with the latter afterwards. While Shankar went on to become one of the most successful directors of all times, Kunjumon faded into oblivion and had taken a hiatus from film-making. After more than a decade, Kunjumon is now producing the film 'Kadhalukku Maranamillai'.

Kunjumon is reported to have told his close associates that though he had the 'right' to seek Shankar's call-sheet to direct his film for having introduced the latter, he didn't do so as his self-esteem prevented him from doing so. Making a re-entry in films after a long gap, Kunjumon accidentally met Shankar at Abirami Theatre Complex recently.
The two old buddies were seen huddled in deep conversation for a long time. Is another film in their combination in the offing?
