Some time back it was rumoured that the talented Silambarasan, a self-proclaimed fan of actor Ajit, would be doing a cameo in the latter's upcoming Saran-directed film 'Asal'. On his part, Simbu had gone on record saying that if the script and his role were satisfactory to him, he would have no qualms in starring in his favourite actor's film.
Will he or not? We asked the man himself and Simbu replied by saying, "Till this date, I haven't been approached by anyone with an offer to do a role in the film. Had I been offered such a chance, I wouldn't have missed it for sure! Many a time I have communicated to my fans, through the dialogues and sequences in my films, that I'm a great fan of Ajit. That being the case, how would I miss out on such an opportunity?"
It appears that Simbu is yearning for a chance to appear on-screen alongside his idol. Is any producer or director listening?
